iPhone vs. LG Prada (Again)

So LG's Mobile Handset R&D Center chief Woo-Young Kwak believes that the iPhone is a "copycat" of the Prada handset they put out but a few weeks earlier (later, officially speaking), and to rather less fanfare. Now, there's a certain "Lost In Translation" factor to be wary of: even if he said it, we don't know the context or humor in which the notion was expressed. Top brass at big companies are more apt to slip out a certain dry innuendo rather than bull-headed accusations of plagiarism; Gadget Lab's got messages on PR peoples' answerphones, and we eagerly await LG's clarification and Apple's reaction. LG proved a couple of days ago that they're not shy with the lawyers, but it's hard to see them doing anything stupid with them—which makes the idea the comments were "serious" seem all the more doubtful.
In the meantime, enjoy our side-by-side and decide for yourself. It might be a couple of mm off, but you get the jist.
To recap, the LG's screen is 3" and has a 240x400 resolution; the iPhone's is 3.5" and 320x480. Both have Bluetooth, the iPhone adds WiFi. The LG is 99mm long and 54 wide, while the iPhone is 115mm long and 61mm wide. Both are 12mm deep. The LG will be about $750 unsubsidized, while the Apple comes with an AT&T contract for $500 or $600, depending on model.
My view: iPhone's the beauty, Prada's the cutie.
